We are looking for a highly specialized Experimental Plasma Scientist to own the physical deployment, configuration, and optimization of our high-temperature thermal plasma systems. This role requires a hands-on builder who moves seamlessly from first-principles plasma physics to physical hardware execution, component specification, and reactor troubleshooting under extreme hydrogen atmospheres.
What You Will Do:
Equipment Specification & Selection: Lead the technical definition and component sourcing for our complete plasma subsystem—including DC/RF power supplies, thermal plasma torches, mass flow controllers, gas-mixing manifolds, and vacuum interfaces.
System Integration & Configuration: Design, assemble, and configure the physical interfaces between power sources, working gas lines, and the high-temperature reaction chamber to optimize energy transfer efficiency.
