Utthunga is seeking a skilled and experienced Honeywell - DCS/PLC Engineer to join our team, focusing on industrial automation and control systems. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Honeywell EPKS DCS/PLC programming, SCADA development, and a solid understanding of process control and software testing within an industrial environment.
Primary Skills & Responsibilities
- Honeywell EPKS DCS/PLC Programming : Hands-on experience with Honeywell Experion Process Knowledge System (EPKS) for Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
- In-depth knowledge on DCS/PLC : Comprehensive understanding of DCS and PLC architectures, functionalities, and programming logic.
- Development of SCADA : Experience in developing and configuring Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
- Knowledge on Faceplates : Familiarity with designing and implementing faceplates within DCS/SCADA systems.
- Site walk-downs for data collection : Ability to perform on-site data collection and system analysis.
- Process simulation testing :



Experience with simulating industrial processes for testing and validation.
- Communication Protocols : Strong understanding and experience with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus/TCP-IP, Profibus, and OPC.
- Verification and functional testing : Conduct verification and functional testing of I/Os and their interfaces to field devices.
- I/O database partitioning : Expertise in partitioning I/O databases for redundancy and fail-safe configurations.
- Compliance : Ensure compliance with internal and customer safety and security requirements.

Software Testing Skills
- Understanding or experience with Process Control of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) .
- Experience using Microsoft development tools and the Windows OS .
- Perform system level software product testing (defining requirements to system planning and test execution).
