Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Finance Controller to oversee the complete finance and accounting function of our restaurant business. The role will be responsible for financial reporting, outlet-wise profitability, budgeting, cash-flow management, inventory and food-cost control, statutory compliance, internal controls and financial governance.

The ideal candidate should have robust experience in restaurants, QSR, cafés, hospitality, F&B;, retail, or other multi-outlet businesses, with a strong understanding of restaurant economics and operational finance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & MIS
Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and reporting.
Prepare and review P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and Management MIS.
Prepare outlet-wise revenue, profitability and cost reports.
Analyse Budget vs Actuals and provide variance commentary.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across all outlets/entities.
Restaurant & Outlet Finance Control




Monitor daily sales, collections, expenses and outlet-level financial performance.
Reconcile POS sales with cash, UPI, credit/debit cards and bank collections.
Monitor online delivery platforms and ensure accurate settlement reconciliation.
Identify revenue leakages, billing irregularities, discounts, voids, refunds and cancellations.
Establish strong financial controls across all restaurant outlets.
Food Cost & Inventory Management
Monitor and analyse food cost, beverage cost and overall COGS.
Track purchases, consumption, closing stock, wastage and stock variances.
Review inventory movement and identify slow-moving or excess inventory.
Implement controls to minimise wastage, pilferage and inventory leakage.
Work closely with Operations and Procurement teams to optimise food costs.
Review recipe costing and standard food-cost percentages.
