Role Description The Chef at Frappe & Yap Cafe is responsible for preparing and plating desserts, beverages, and cafe-style dishes to established quality and hygiene standards. Day-to-day tasks include organizing the kitchen, managing ingredients and inventory, following recipes, and contributing to new menu items. The Chef ensures timely preparation of orders, maintains cleanliness and safety in the kitchen, and collaborates with the front-of-house team to deliver a smooth guest experience. This is a full-time,



on-site role based at the Frappe & Yap Cafe location in Pune City, requiring regular presence during operating hours.
Qualifications
Professional experience as a chef, pastry chef, or cook in a café, bakery, or restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of dessert preparation, baking techniques, and hot and cold beverage preparation.
Understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen sanitation practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, manage multiple orders, and maintain consistent quality.
Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members and support service staff.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and peak periods.
Culinary diploma or relevant training is preferred, but practical experience will also be considered.
Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude toward guests and colleagues.
