NTheSchool Counselor provides comprehensive support to students across all grade levels in alignment with the CBSE philosophy. They work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and administrators to foster a positive and inclusive school workplace that promotes students' well-being, personal growth, and academic success.
NKey Responsibilities:
N1. Student Well-being & Social-Emotional Support

Provide individual and group counseling to address students' personal, social, and emotional challenges. N
Develop and implement social-emotional learning (SEL) programs and well-being initiatives. N
Support students in managing stress, anxiety, and mental health concerns. N
Promote a protected, inclusive, and supportive school environment in line with IB Learner Profile attributes. N

n2. Academic & Career Guidance

Assist students in setting academic and personal goals. N
Support students in time management, study skills, and learning strategies. N




Guide students in the university and career exploration process, including college applications, scholarships, and career pathways. N
Provide counseling on subject selection based on students' interests and future aspirations. N

n3. Collaboration with Stakeholders

Work closely withteachers to identify and support students with learning difficulties, behavioral issues, and emotional concerns. N
Communicate with parents regarding students' progress, challenges, and strategies for support. N
Collaborate with external mental health specialists when specialized support is needed. N
Conduct workshops and sessions for parents, students, and teachers on mental health, well-being, and life skills. N
