Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the Emergency Department.

Ensure timely assessment, triage, and treatment of emergency patients.

Coordinate with doctors, nurses, technicians, and other departments.

Allocate duties and prepare duty rosters for emergency staff.

Monitor staff performance and ensure adequate staffing at all times.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control practices, and patient safety standards.

Maintain emergency equipment, crash carts, medicines, and essential supplies.

Ensure proper documentation, patient records, and incident reports.

Handle emergency situations efficiently and coordinate rapid response during critical cases.

Monitor patient flow, waiting time, and quality of emergency services.





Address patient and attendant concerns and escalate responsible issues appropriately.

Conduct staff training, drills, and competency assessments related to emergency care.

Ensure compliance with NABH standards and other applicable regulations.

Coordinate ambulance services, referrals, admissions, transfers, and discharges when required.

Prepare and submit departmental reports to the management.
