Position: Storekeeper – Construction Experience: 2+ Years Qualification: Any Degree / Diploma preferred Location: Coimbatore

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Storekeeper with minimum 2 years of experience in construction materials and civil project stores. The candidate should be responsible for material receipt, storage, issue, stock maintenance, and verification of vendor bills.

Key Responsibilities
Receive and verify construction materials such as cement, steel, sand, aggregates, plumbing and electrical materials, etc.
Maintain proper stock registers and inventory records.
Issue materials to site teams based on approved requirements.
Monitor daily stock levels and prepare material requirement reports.
Verify materials against purchase orders, delivery challans, and invoices.
Maintain proper documentation for material receipts and issues.
Check and verify civil/construction vendor bills with delivery challans, purchase orders, quantities, and rates.
Coordinate with the Project, Purchase, Accounts, and Site teams regarding materials and bills.
Identify shortages, excess quantities, damages, or discrepancies and report them to management.
Ensure proper storage, handling,



and security of construction materials.
Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile differences.
Maintain records of returned, damaged, and unused materials.
Ensure the store is clean, organized, and properly maintained.

Required Skills
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in construction/civil projects.
Valuable knowledge of construction and civil materials.
Experience in checking vendor bills, invoices, purchase orders, and delivery challans.
Good inventory and stock-management skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to maintain proper documentation and records.
Honest, responsible, and organized with positive time-management skills.

Preferred Candidate: A responsible and detail-oriented Storekeeper with 2+ years of construction-store experience, good knowledge of civil materials, and hands-on experience in vendor bill verification and inventory management.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
