Chāo is hiring a Commis I to join our Chinese kitchen team.
Responsibilities:
Prep independently as per Tangra-style Chinese recipes under senior chef guidance
Handle wok stations during service
Manage prep work (sauces, marinades, cuts) to standard
Ensure consistency in taste and presentation
Maintain hygiene and kitchen safety standards
Requirements:
2–3 years experience as Commis I or similar, preferably in Chinese/Indo-Chinese/Tangra cuisine
Comfortable working wok stations during peak hours
Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen workplace
Location: Panampilly Nagar, Kochi
Job Type: Full time
