Summary:
In the role of Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of bespoke software solutions. This includes guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The role requires setting and maintaining high standards for development practices, ensuring that the software produced is scalable, performs efficiently, and aligns closely with the strategic goals of the organization. Collaboration and leadership are central, as the lead supports teams in navigating complex challenges and delivering robust software products.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.




Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software development processes and team productivity.
Mentor and support junior team members to foster qualified growth and skill development.
Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment between technical and business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot.
Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
Robust knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
Familiarity with containerization technologies and cloud platforms.
Ability to design scalable and maintainable software systems.
Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Java-based applications.

Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Spring Boot.
This position is based at our BDC14A - STPI office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
