Key Responsibilities
Lead the school's academic strategy, annual planning, and implementation
Review and monitor curriculum, learning standards, and academic programs
Drive teacher training, professional development, classroom observations, and coaching
Monitor student academic performance, assessments, results, and learning outcomes
Lead academic reviews, leadership meetings, and professional development meetings
Develop and mentor academic heads, coordinators, and teachers
Promote a strong culture of academic excellence and skilled accountability
Handle high-level teacher, student, and academic escalations
Support teacher recruitment, selection, and academic staffing
Review student admissions from an academic perspective
Coordinate with external organizations for teacher development and academic initiatives
Monitor education board documentation and academic compliance




Work closely with senior leadership and academic teams on school-wide improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Experience
Master's Degree in Education, a relevant subject, or related field
B.Ed / M.Ed preferred
Significant experience in school education and academic leadership
Experience as Head of Academics, Academic Head, Principal, Vice Principal, Headmistress, or Academic Coordinator
Solid experience in curriculum planning, teacher development, assessment, and academic management
Excellent leadership, communication, decision-making, and team-management skills

Mandatory Requirements
Fluency in Marathi is mandatory
Robust English communication skills
Willingness to work full-time at the school in Thane
Candidates from Thane or nearby areas preferred

Pay: Up to ₹80,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
