Pre-Primary Teacher / NTT Teacher – Job Description

Job Title: Pre-Primary Teacher / NTT Teacher
Department: Pre-Primary / Early Childhood Education
Reports To: Principal / Academic Coordinator

Job Summary

We are looking for a caring, creative, and enthusiastic Pre-Primary Teacher / NTT Teacher to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning setting for young children. The teacher will focus on early childhood development through play-based learning, activities, storytelling, music, art, and age-appropriate educational methods.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging lessons and age-appropriate classroom activities.
Teach basic concepts such as alphabets, numbers, colors, shapes, vocabulary, and general awareness.
Use play-based, activity-based, and experiential teaching methods.
Develop children’s communication, social, emotional, motor, and cognitive skills.
Organize storytelling, rhymes, art & craft, music, games, and creative activities.
Maintain a protected, clean, positive, and child-friendly classroom environment.
Observe and monitor individual students’ learning and developmental progress.




Maintain regular communication with parents regarding children’s progress and activities.
Encourage good manners, discipline, independence, sharing, and teamwork.
Prepare teaching materials, worksheets, displays, and classroom resources.
Participate in school events, celebrations, activities, and teacher meetings.
Maintain appropriate classroom records and student documentation.

Required Qualifications
Diploma/Certificate in Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), ECCE, D.El.Ed., or equivalent qualification.
Graduation with relevant early childhood education training preferred.
Previous experience as a Pre-Primary/Nursery/KG Teacher is an advantage.
Positive communication skills and basic computer knowledge.
