Key Responsibilities

System Administration & Maintenance
Installation & Upgrades: Install, configure, patch, and upgrade OBIEE 11g/12c/OAS and WebLogic Server on Linux/Unix environments.
Environment Migration: Migrate RPD (Metadata repository) and Web Catalog objects across different settings (DEV, QA, PROD) using Catalog Manager and WLST scripts.
Performance Tuning: Monitor system performance using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), tune JVM settings, manage cache (cache seeding/purging), and resolve bottlenecks in reports and dashboards.
High Availability: Configure clustering, load balancing, and Node Manager for high availability and failover. Hire IT People +3

Security & User Management
Authentication & Authorization: Integrate OBIEE with LDAP/Active Directory (MSAD) for user authentication and manage authorization through Application Roles and Groups.
Object & Data Security: Implement data-level security (Row-Level Security) and object-level security within the RPD.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of exclusive experience as an OBIEE Administrator.
Core Knowledge: Deep expertise in OBIEE 11g/12c/OAS suite, WebLogic Server administration, and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or Informatica administration.
Database Skills: Solid proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, SQL*Loader, and data warehousing concepts.
OS Knowledge: Robust experience with Linux/Unix shell commands and scripting for automation.
