We are looking for a Quality Control (QC) Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in the fasteners industry. The candidate should have hands-on experience in inspection processes, quality standards, and testing using UTM (Universal Testing Machine).
Key Responsibilities
Perform in-process and final inspection of fasteners as per drawing/specifications.
Conduct mechanical testing using UTM (tensile, proof load, shear tests, etc.).
Ensure compliance with ISO and customer-specific quality standards.
Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and test certificates.
Handle calibration of measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Thread Gauges, etc.).
Analyze rejection data and support root cause analysis (RCA).
Coordinate with production for quality improvement initiatives.
Assist during internal and external audits.
Monitor heat treatment and surface coating quality (if applicable).
Required Skills & Knowledge
Knowledge of fastener standards (ISO, ASTM, DIN preferred).
Hands-on experience with UTM testing.
Good understanding of GD&T; and engineering drawings.
Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality tools (7 QC tools).
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and report preparation.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Educational Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience in fasteners manufacturing unit.
Knowledge of tensile testing, hardness testing, and metallurgical inspection.
Valuable communication skills and attention to detail.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
