Key Responsibilities
Rate Management: Prepare freight quotations and handle client RFQs, bids, and complex tenders for air, ocean, and land transport.
Carrier Procurement: Negotiate buying rates, contracts, and service level agreements with shipping lines, airlines, and trucking vendors.
Market Analysis: Monitor competitor pricing, fuel surcharges, capacity shifts, and global trade trends to adjust local rates.
Profitability Tracking: Analyze lane-level margin performance and identify ways to lower operational costs.
Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with sales, operations, and overseas agents to close high-value logistics deals. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Finance.
