Job Description ADM Architect

Experience: 10+ Years
Primary Skill: Java / Enterprise Application Architecture

Role: Application Development & Maintenance (ADM) Architect
Secondary Skill: Data Engineering / Data Architecture, Cloud

Required Technical Skills

Primary Java & Application Architecture
10+ years of overall IT/application development experience with significant architecture or technical leadership responsibilities.
Strong hands-on knowledge of Java/J2EE and up-to-date Java frameworks.
Strong experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST APIs, and microservices.
Positive understanding of domain-driven design, design patterns, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.
Experience with messaging/streaming technologies such as Kafka, MQ, or equivalent.
Experience designing highly available, scalable, resilient, and high-performance enterprise applications.
Strong understanding of API management, authentication/authorization, caching, and integration patterns.

Secondary – Data
Good understanding of Data Engineering and Data Architecture concepts.
Experience with relational databases such as Oracle,



PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
Exposure to NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or equivalent.
Understanding of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data lakes/lakehouses, data quality, and data governance.
Exposure to technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalent is desirable.
Ability to design application-to-data-platform integration patterns.
Robust experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience designing cloud-native and hybrid-cloud solutions.
Understanding of IaaS, PaaS, containers, Kubernetes, serverless, managed databases, storage, networking, and IAM.
Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, or equivalent is desirable.
Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Splunk, ELK, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Prometheus/Grafana, or cloud-native alternatives.
