About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and responsible Business Development Associate to promote our textbooks and educational products to schools.
The role involves visiting K-12 schools, meeting principals, academicians, teachers and school management representatives, presenting the strengths of our books and developing long-term relationships with educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit K-12 schools within the assigned territory.
- Meet principals, correspondents, academic coordinators, teachers and school management representatives.
- Present and explain the academic features, quality and advantages of Jessi Publications’ textbooks.
- Provide samples and conduct product presentations where required.
- Understand the curriculum and textbook requirements of each school.
- Follow up with schools and convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
- Develop new school accounts and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Achieve assigned sales and collection targets.
- Maintain accurate records of school visits, enquiries, follow-ups and orders.
- Gather feedback from academicians and communicate market requirements to the company.
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable travelling regularly and meeting school authorities in person.
- Confident, persuasive and capable of building professional relationships.
- Self-motivated, organised and focused on achieving targets.
