Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (MSP).
- Prepare Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), project baselines, and milestone schedules.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify potential delays and critical activities.
- Conduct critical path analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions to achieve project timelines.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Consultants, Contractors, Procurement, and other stakeholders for effective project planning and execution.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, MIS reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
- Monitor resource utilization, manpower deployment, and productivity to optimize project performance.
- Track project deliverables, procurement schedules, and construction activities to ensure timely completion.
- Assist in project forecasting, recovery planning, and risk assessment.
- Support management during project review meetings by providing planning insights and schedule updates.
- Ensure adherence to contractual milestones, project timelines, and organizational planning standards.
- Maintain accurate planning documentation and project records.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Preferred: Postgraduate qualification in Construction Management/Project Management from NICMAR or an equivalent institute.
Experience
- 7-8 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in the real estate or construction industry.
- Proven experience in planning and scheduling high-rise residential or commercial construction projects.
- Hands-on experience in project planning from project initiation to completion.
