We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations for a rapid-growing designer/fashion brand operating across D2C, multi-brand outlets and exhibitions.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally with zero backlog.
Manage sales, purchases, expenses, receipts and payments.
Prepare ledgers, trial balance and month-end/year-end schedules.
Handle bank, customer, vendor, GST and inventory reconciliations.
Inventory & Costing
Maintain SKU-wise inventory for raw materials and finished goods.
Track inventory across different sales channels.
Prepare SKU costing and conduct monthly inventory reconciliation.
MIS & Finance Coordination
Provide accurate data for MIS and financial reporting.
Support profitability statements, cost sheets and working capital reports.
Coordinate with the CFO/VCFO team on finance-related requirements.
GST & TDS Compliance
Prepare GST workings including GSTR-1,
GSTR-3B and 2A/2B reconciliation.
Handle TDS workings, payment schedules and compliance documentation.
Support timely GST/TDS payments and filings.
Vendor & Payments
Process and validate vendor payments.
Maintain vendor ageing and payable schedules.
Regularly reconcile vendor accounts.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
Experience in fashion, apparel, designer wear or inventory-driven businesses preferred.
Strong command of Tally ERP and Advanced Excel.
Good understanding of GST, TDS, inventory and reconciliations.
Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail and follow-up skills.
Ability to work in a quick-paced, deadline-driven environment.
