We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with strong expertise in Creo Sheet Metal, GD&T;, and Weldment Design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing sheet metal and welded assemblies, creating manufacturing drawings, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop sheet metal components and welded assemblies using PTC Creo.
Create detailed 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and BOMs.
Apply GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) as per ASME Y14.5 standards.
Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and design validation.
Develop weldment structures, fabrication drawings, and assembly documentation.
Coordinate with manufacturing, sourcing,
and quality teams for design feasibility.
Support engineering change management and design modifications.
Ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
Required Skills:
Solid experience in PTC Creo (Sheet Metal & Weldment Modules).
Positive knowledge of GD&T; and engineering drawing standards.
Hands-on experience in fabrication and manufacturing processes.
Expertise in assembly design, BOM creation, and detailing.
Understanding of DFMA principles and tolerance analysis.
Solid problem-solving and communication skills.
