Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare electrical design and engineering drawings for BMRCL project requirements.
Develop and review electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLD), schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, cable routing, earthing, and related systems.
Coordinate with MEP, HVAC, civil, and other engineering teams to ensure proper integration of electrical services.
Review drawings and technical specifications and ensure compliance with project standards.
Prepare BOQ, material take-offs, and technical documentation.
Coordinate with site and project teams for design clarifications and modifications.
Attend design review meetings and incorporate client/consultant comments.




Ensure drawings and designs comply with applicable electrical codes, standards, and BMRCL project requirements.
Support site teams with technical inputs and resolve design-related issues.
Maintain proper documentation and update drawings based on project changes.
Required Qualifications & Skills

Qualification:* Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.

Experience:* 3–8 years in electrical design/engineering.

Experience in MEP / infrastructure / metro / railway / commercial projects* will be preferred.

Proficiency in AutoCAD* is required.
Knowledge of electrical design software/tools and preparation of SLDs, layouts, and schematics.
Valuable knowledge of electrical systems, cable sizing, load calculations, earthing, lighting, and power distribution.
Knowledge of relevant electrical standards and safety requirements.
Valuable coordination and communication skills.
