Deputy Manager, Store & Inventory Management

About Us:
Planys Technologies is an IIT Madras-incubated deep-tech company building indigenously manufactured underwater ROVs and AUVs for robotic inspection and survey. We're looking for a hands-on Deputy Manager to own our store and inventory function end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day store operations — inventory, material movement, and documentation using ABC analysis
End-to-end inventory control: receiving, storing, issuing, tracking, and recording stock
Maintain stock registers, GRNs, inward/outward entries, and ERP records (Zoho Inventory or similar)
Coordinate with procurement on material plans and warehouse layout allocation
Conduct stock audits, cycle counts,



and reconciliation for zero discrepancies
Ensure FIFO/LIFO practices and safety/quality compliance
Verify invoices, bills, and consumption reports for finance/audit
Lead store assistants and handlers; enforce SOP discipline
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS and inventory reports
Drive inventory optimization to reduce stock-outs and excess/obsolete stock
Track tools, consumables, spares, and project-specific equipment

Must-Have:
B.Com / BCA / MBA or any graduate
Hands-on ERP software experience (Zoho Inventory/SAP or similar)
At least one stint in a manufacturing/product company — EMS, Semiconductor, Automotive, Electrical, or Electronics
Fluent in English & Tamil
