Position: Story Reviewer- Childrens Creative Writing

Duration: 6 Months

Stipend: 10k-15k per month

About the Job

We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and responsible Story Reviewer to score childrens creative writing submission and provide feedback. The successful candidate will be reviewing writers work, providing feedback on the elements of a story, creativity, grammar, and language used appropriate for the childs age.

Your Responsibilities
Review students creative writing, stories, poems.
Evaluate the writing on the basis of story elements as creativity, originality, grammar, vocabulary.
Write a short synopsis, jury notes, and feedback to the author.
Provide positive and encouraging comments while pointing out the areas for improvement.
Score the submission according to the marked criteria on a Scale/ Rubric
Be objective in scoring and judgment of each submission.




Meet deadlines and maintain the quality of work.
Keep the information about submissions and judgments confidential.

Qualifications
Interested in reading stories.
A degree in English, Literature, Journalism, Education, or other related fields (preferred).
Excellent command of the English language to edit and write.
Familiarity with the fundamentals of creative writing, editing, and working with children (desirable).

Skills
High proficiency in English language and grammar.
Ability to understand, comprehend and evaluate students work keeping books written by children for children.
Attention to detail.
Robust editing and proofreading skills.
Effective communication and feedback provision.
