We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with 6+ years of experience in software testing and automation, with robust hands-on expertise in Playwright, Python, API Testing, and CI/CD.

The ideal candidate should have experience designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks for modern web applications, automating UI, API, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright and Python.
Develop automated UI, functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
Perform web application automation across multiple browsers and devices.
Develop and execute REST API automation/testing using Playwright API, Postman, or similar tools.
Validate API requests/responses, JSON/XML payloads, status codes, schemas, and authentication mechanisms.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
Analyze automation failures, identify defects, perform root-cause analysis, and support defect resolution.
Perform SQL/database validation to verify data integrity and backend processes.
Develop reusable automation components using frameworks such as PyTest/POM.




Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and product teams in an Agile/Scrum setting.
Manage defects and test execution using tools such as Jira, Xray, Zephyr, or Azure Test Plans.
Contribute to improving test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall quality engineering practices.
Exposure to AI-powered testing/GenAI testing tools is an added advantage.
