Job Title: Software Engineer (IV) - Premium Senior Engineer

Location: Chennai

Work Type: Hybrid (4 Days work From Office)

Position Description:
This position will be part of the ENTERPRISE SAP PLATFORM API Enablement (Interface objects) and Enhancement product teams (Enhancements, Forms, Workflow, Reports) in the Enterprise Architecture
Foundational Products group and this team is responsible to provide API
Enablement and Enhancements development services using ABAP programming and ODATA services.

Skills Required:
ABAP CDS

Skills Preferred:
API, Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP), AIPGEE

Experience Required:
Senior Engineer Exp: Prac. In 2 coding lang. or adv. Prac. in 1 lang.; guides.




10+ years in IT; 8+ years in development

Experience Preferred:
SAP BTP - CAPAM

Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree

Additional Information :
Technical Skills:
Expertise in ABAP development, including ABAP Objects, ABAP recent syntax, and performance tuning.
Strong knowledge of SAP Core Data Services (CDS) Views, AMDP, and HANA SQL Programming.
Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori/SAPUI5 development, OData services, and Fiori Elements.
Experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) based design and development, and ABAP Restful Programming Model.
Proficiency in various integration technologies (e.g., BAPI, BADI, IDOC, User Exits, Web Services, APIs, RFCs). 6.Familiarity with SAP security concepts and authorization checks in ABAP objects.
Experience with code management tools like GitHub.
