Arrange and organize fabrics and materials so everything is easy to find and kept in its right place.
- Keep the inventory tidy and labelled; help put away current deliveries and assist with stock counts.
- Prepare order packets as per requirement — check the fabric, measure it, fold it, add all the required trims (buttons, zippers, threads, linings, labels), and assemble a complete, correct packet ready for production.
- Check each packet against the spec sheet before passing it on, so production receives exactly what is needed.
- Organise and maintain samples, spec sheets, and other reference materials so they are easy to locate.
- Handle fabric carefully to avoid damage or soiling, and keep the work area clean and orderly.
- Flag low stock, missing trims, or any fabric issues to the Inventory Manager promptly.
- Support the Inventory Manager with day-to-day tasks and follow instructions accurately.
