Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with BMC officials and other government authorities for project-related approvals and clearances.
- Coordinate with municipal departments for permits, licenses, inspections, and statutory compliance.
- Guide the organization on BMC rules, regulations, policies, and procedural requirements.
- Follow up on project documentation, file movement, and approval status.
- Represent the company during meetings with government departments and municipal authorities.
- Assist in resolving regulatory and compliance-related issues.
- Coordinate with internal project, engineering, legal, and compliance teams.
- Monitor changes in municipal regulations and advise management accordingly.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with government stakeholders.
- Prepare reports and provide regular updates on approval and liaison activities.
- Support tender documentation and government correspondence when required.

Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline. _(Engineering, Public Administration, or related fields will be an advantage.)_




- Retired from Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

Experience
- 15+ years of experience with BMC in engineering, public works, solid waste management, water supply, roads, licensing, building proposals, or related municipal departments.
- Proven experience in handling government approvals, statutory compliance, and administrative coordination.

Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of BMC rules, procedures, and statutory regulations.
- Excellent government liaison and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in handling municipal approvals and documentation.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and authorities.
- Good documentation and report preparation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
