We are looking for an experienced IBM MQ & SFMS Technical Consultant with 5+ years of hands-on experience in middleware technologies, messaging platforms, and banking domain applications. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in IBM MQ administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and SFMS (Structured Financial Messaging System) integration/support.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support IBM MQ environments across development, testing, and production environments.
Perform installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of IBM MQ components.
Monitor MQ queues, channels, listeners, and resolve messaging-related issues.
Troubleshoot message flow failures, queue issues, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks.
Support SFMS application integration, message processing, and transaction flows.
Analyze and resolve production incidents related to MQ and SFMS interfaces.
Work with application teams, infrastructure teams, and business users for issue resolution.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions for recurring issues.
Manage deployments, configuration changes, and release activities.




Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of messaging infrastructure.

Required Skills:
5+ years of experience in IBM MQ administration and support.
Solid knowledge of IBM WebSphere MQ / IBM MQ concepts.
Hands-on experience with MQ queue managers, queues, channels, listeners, and message handling.
Experience in SFMS (Structured Financial Messaging System) support and integration.
Good understanding of banking transaction messaging flows.
Experience in troubleshooting MQ connectivity and message delivery issues.
Knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting.
Basic understanding of SQL/database concepts.
Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes.

Preferred Skills:
Experience working in Banking/Financial Services domain.
Knowledge of SWIFT/SFMS messaging standards.
Exposure to monitoring tools and ITIL processes.
Experience with automation and MQ scripting.
