Senior Financial Specialist - PS Excellence
Techno Functional Role:
Responsibilities:
- Address and resolve end-user issues in PeopleSoft modules focusing on Order to Cash and Record to Report processes.
- PeopleSoft Knowledge: Proficiency in PeopleSoft FSCM - Financials O2C and R2R.
- Demonstrate proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues within the ERP system setting.
- Execute predefined integrity checks and perform Business Day (BD) tasks to facilitate month-end closing procedures.
- Develop and modify PeopleSoft queries in response to user community requests and requirements.
- Investigate and resolve PeopleSoft security-related issues, ensuring proper access controls and data protection.
- Understanding of financial accounting principles and chart of Accounts, including general ledger, billing, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
- Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues effectively.
- Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders, including finance professionals and technical teams.
- Security Awareness: Understanding of data security principles and practices to protect financial data.
- Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Documentation: Skills in documenting processes, configurations, and solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing.
Understanding of Journal Entries, Ledger, Multi currency processing in PeopleSoft, GL Allocations and Month end closing activities.
Identify, propose, and implement process improvements to enhance system efficiency and user experience.
Requirements:
- Graduate / Postgraduate in Accounting / IT / Engineering with an experience range of 5-10 years.
- Experience in problem-solving with end users.
