Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and review journal entries, ledgers, and trial balances.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and financial planning.
- Process payroll accounting and employee reimbursements (if applicable).
- Verify invoices, purchase orders, and payment approvals.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Assist in implementing process improvements and internal controls.
Required Skills:
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic financial analysis).
- Experience with accounting software such as Tally Prime, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, or Busy.
- Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.
