Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture, assemble, repair, and maintain dies, tools, jigs, and fixtures as per drawings/specifications.
- Operate CNC, milling, lathe, grinding, and other machine tools for tool/die making.
- Perform troubleshooting, adjustments,
and modifications to improve tool & Die performance and reduce downtime.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
- Ensure all dies and tools meet quality standards and dimensional accuracy.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to extend the life of dies/tools.
- Support production teams in resolving tool-related issues during manufacturing.
- Maintain documentation of tool & Die history, modifications, and maintenance records.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards in tool room operations.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of tool & die making, machining processes, and materials.
- Proficiency in operating conventional and CNC machines.
- Valuable understanding of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Ability to work with CAD/CAM software (added advantage).
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Precision and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
