Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
Academic Delivery
- Teach Chemistry and General Science in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and activity-based learning to encourage scientific inquiry and analytical thinking.
- Ensure timely completion of the syllabus and conduct remedial or enrichment classes as required.
Assessment & Classroom Management
- Conduct formative and summative assessments, practical evaluations, projects, and assignments in line with CBSE guidelines.
- Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records.
- Create a positive, disciplined, and engaging classroom workplace.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain effective communication with parents through PTMs and academic discussions.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Science, or a related discipline.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Master's Degree in Chemistry will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 2-5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school.
- Experience teaching Science and Chemistry for Classes VI-X is preferred.
- Experience in Olympiad coaching, STEM education, or competitive exam foundation programmes will be an added advantage.
Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
