Core Responsibilities
- Inspecting Components & Vehicles: Perform visual and physical inspections of parts, sub-assemblies, and finished vehicles to meet engineering specs.
- Process Monitoring: Monitor production lines for inconsistencies, conducting in-process inspections to ensure quality compliance.
- Defect Identification & Reporting: Identify, document, and report defects, irregularities, or deviations in production.
Key Requirements
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of automotive systems, engineering drawings, and manufacturing processes.
- Attention to Detail:
High capability to spot minute defects and ensure strict adherence to safety standards.
- Technical Tools: Experience with precision measuring instruments.
- Communication Skills: Ability to report findings accurately and work with production teams.
- Education/Experience: High school diploma, often with vocational training or relevant automotive manufacturing experience.
