The job incumbent is responsible to. Handling and Register of sample as per Customer/Regulatory requirement.
The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Lab testing activities including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.
Ø Major Responsibilities
Report to the section In-Charge
Receipt and secure handling of the samples.
Verification and safe storage of the samples as per requirement indicated.
Assortment and safe storage of the samples department wise.
Review the test request forms as well sampling data sheets as per NABL, EIC, APEDA, FSSAI, BIS etc
Registration and safe handling of the samples until the delivered to concerned section as per procedure
Sample delivery acknowledgement from delivered section
Day to day recording & maintaining of sample delivery register
Day to day recording & maintaining of job card acknowledgements register
Other tasks as required.
Ø Roles & Responsibilities for HSE
Must comply the BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations.
To comply company HSE requirements e.g. policies, Procedures, guidelines etc. and local legal requirements on HSE as applicable
To take care of own health and safety as well as colleagues and others.
Immediate reporting of any shortcomings on HSE i.e. any incident, unsafe work practices / conditions to his/her immediate Line Managers.
Ø Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs)
Receipt and safe handling of the samples.
Verification and safe storage of the samples as per requirement indicated
Registration and safe handling of the samples until the delivered to concerned section as per procedure.
Ø Qualification and Experience
Graduate with Chemistry or related Background in food testing industry
Min 3-4 years’ experience in relevant field
