- B.Sc / Diploma in Radiology / Medical Imaging Technology
- Relevant CT Scan Technician qualification
- Valid registration/certification as applicable
Experience
- Experienced CT Technicians preferred
- Candidates with hands-on experience in CT Scan operations will be given preference
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CT Scan equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform routine and contrast-enhanced CT examinations as per protocols
- Prepare patients for CT procedures and explain the examination process
- Verify patient details, clinical history and investigation requirements
- Position patients correctly and ensure high-quality image acquisition
- Assist Radiologists during specialized CT procedures when required
- Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain patient safety
- Ensure proper handling and care of CT equipment
- Monitor contrast administration and promptly report any adverse reactions
- Maintain daily CT logs, patient records and procedure documentation
- Coordinate with Radiologists, doctors, nurses and front-office staff
- Ensure cleanliness and readiness of the CT room and equipment
- Report equipment issues promptly to the concerned technical/biomedical team
- Follow hospital/diagnostic centre SOPs and quality protocols
Required Skills
- Solid knowledge of CT Scan procedures and protocols
- Good patient positioning and image acquisition skills
- Knowledge of contrast studies and radiation safety
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy diagnostic setup
- Good communication and patient-handling skills
- Responsible and safety-focused approach
