JOINERY ASSEMBLY & FACTORY LABOURER

Supporting tradesmen and apprentices, you’ll play a crucial part in maintaining operations and workspaces within a production factory. A flexible and adaptive all-rounder, you’ll take pride in your work and enjoy collaborating with team members. This is a factory-based role that may include some travel.

DUTIES

- Assemble of joinery according to provided specifications
- Reading plans and assessing detailed items
- Follow our procedure in correspondence and ensure that production meets the schedule.
- Follow all company H&S; policies and actively participate in Comms meetings, audits and the use of PPE
- Safely operate a variety of hand & power tools, machinery
- Use software systems to track and improve processes
- Conduct quality compliance and safety checks
- Ensure tidy work area, working with LEAN principles and following company policies
- Regular training on factory flow fundamentals
- Maintaining 5S

What You Need To Be Successful

- Experience as an assembler or factory labourer in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Basic understanding of materials and joinery techniques
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy materials
- Basic ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings
- Good communicator
- Team player
