Job Prospect – CICS Systems ProgrammerExperience: 7+ YearsLocation: PAN IndiaShift: Primarily 24x7 Support / EST Hours (To Be Decided)Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced CICS Systems Programmer with strong expertise in IBM Mainframe technologies to support and maintain enterprise-scale CICS environments. The role involves installation, maintenance, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support for mission-critical applications running on IBM z/OS.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, upgrade, and maintain CICS Transaction Server environments.Perform CICS administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.Support CICS regions, resource definitions, and production environments.Apply software maintenance and upgrades using SMP/E.Analyze and resolve production issues, system dumps, and CICS abends.Work closely with application teams and infrastructure teams to support business-critical systems.Integrate CICS with other mainframe technologies such as DB2, IBM MQ,



and IMS.Support disaster recovery activities, production implementations, and on-call rotations.Monitor system health using tools such as OMEGAMON, MainView, or TMON.Ensure high availability and compliance with SLA requirements.Required Skills7+ years of experience in CICS Systems Programming/Administration.Strong experience with IBM CICS Transaction Server.Hands-on expertise in z/OS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, and SMP/E.Experience with monitoring tools such as OMEGAMON, MainView, or TMON.Good troubleshooting and production support experience, including dump/abend analysis.Working knowledge of DB2, IBM MQ, IMS, and RACF.Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a 24x7 production support environment.PreferredExperience supporting large enterprise or banking/financial services environments.Experience with disaster recovery, change implementation, and capacity/performance management.
