Job Title: Workday Time & Absence Techno-Functional AnalystPosition SummaryThe Workday Time & Absence Techno-Functional Analyst is responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and support of Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management solutions. This role bridges business and technical teams, ensuring requirements are translated into scalable, compliant, and effective Workday configurations.Shift :US shiftsWork at office all 5 days from officeExp Level 4 to 8 YrsKey ResponsibilitiesFunctional ResponsibilitiesLead requirements gathering sessions with HR, Payroll, and Operations stakeholdersConfigure and maintain Workday Time Tracking and Absence modulesDesign and support accruals, leave plans, eligibility rules, and time calculationsEnsure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements (FMLA, PTO, LOA, etc.)Support testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) and defect resolutionProvide production support and troubleshoot time/absence issuesTechnical ResponsibilitiesConfigure calculated fields, business process frameworks, and condition rulesSupport integrations with Payroll, Benefits, and third-party vendorsAnalyze and resolve data issues using Workday reporting toolsBuild and maintain reports,



and audits related to time and absencePartner with integration teams on inbound/outbound data flowsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Business, or related field5+ years of Workday experience with a focus on Time Tracking and AbsenceHands-on configuration experience in Workday Time & AbsenceStrong understanding of HRIS processes and payroll impactsExperience with Workday business processes, security, and reportingPreferred QualificationsWorkday certification in Time Tracking and/or AbsenceExperience supporting Workday implementations or tenant deploymentsKnowledge of integrations (EIBs, Workday Studio, Core Connectors)Familiarity with advanced reporting toolsKey SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to translate business requirements into system solutionsExcellent stakeholder communication and collaborationDetail-oriented with strong documentation skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentTypical DeliverablesConfigured absence plans and time tracking rulesBusiness process designs and documentationTest scripts and defect logsReports for HR/Payroll teamsProduction support and issue resolution logs
