Applicants can expect to join a team that stays at the forefront of technology and builds long-term partnerships with clients.Role OverviewThe WebFOCUS Platform Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, security, performance, and ongoing maintenance of the organization's WebFOCUS Business Intelligence environment (TIBCO/Information Builders WebFOCUS). This role ensures the platform remains reliable, secure, and performant to support reporting, dashboards, and analytics for business users across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and upgrade WebFOCUS components, including the Reporting Server, App Studio/Developer Studio, Business User Edition, and related middleware (Tomcat/WebSphere/WebLogic, Java)Manage user accounts, groups, roles,



and security profiles through WebFOCUS Security Center, including integration with LDAP/Active Directory and single sign-on (SSO)Configure and maintain data adapters/connections to relational databases, data warehouses, and other data sourcesMonitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and tune the platform for optimal resource utilizationManage repository content, including migration of reports, procedures, and metadata between development, test, and production environmentsSchedule and monitor batch jobs, report distribution, and ReportCaster activitiesApply patches, hotfixes, and version upgrades, including testing in non-production environments prior to deploymentImplement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and failover procedures for the WebFOCUS environmentConfigure clustering, load balancing, and high-availability setups for production environmentsMaintain documentation for system configuration, standards, and operational proceduresProvide technical support to report developers and end users, troubleshooting connectivity, performance, and access issuesCollaborate with database administrators, network teams, and security teams to ensure platform compliance and integrationKnowledge of Unix, Windows, Linux administration is preferred
