Role Description The Collection Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role involves managing the end-to-end billing and collection process, including reviewing invoices, tracking outstanding payments, and ensuring timely cash collection from clients or customers. The Collection Associate will communicate regularly with stakeholders via phone, email, and other channels to resolve payment issues, negotiate repayment arrangements, and clarify billing discrepancies. Daily tasks include maintaining accurate records, analyzing collection reports, identifying risk or aging accounts, and escalating complex cases as needed.
The role also requires close collaboration with finance and operations teams to improve collection efficiency and support overall cash-flow management.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess solid skills in Billing Process and Cash Collection to manage invoices and ensure timely receipt of payments.
- Candidates should possess proven Debt Collection experience, including handling overdue accounts and negotiating repayment solutions.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact professionally with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret collection data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.
- Prior experience in collections, accounts receivable, or finance operations is beneficial.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and familiarity with ERP or billing software is an advantage.
- Ability to work accurately under deadlines, handle high call volumes, and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in commerce, finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
