Key Responsibilities

/n

Business Development Strategy

/n

- Identify, and analyse the opportunities through defence procurement plans, RFPs, and

/n

industry intelligence.

/n

- Finalise the positioning by aligning company capabilities with requirements of

/n

customers.

/n

- Establish and nurture relationships with procurement of Defence PSUs and private

/n

companies' agencies, DRDO labs, shipyards, and system integrators.

/n

- Monitor competitor activities and market shifts to refine capture strategies.

/n

Proposal & Capture Management

/n

- Conduct kick-off meeting to explain the business opportunities to the stakeholder and

/n

cross-functional teams.

/n

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (design, engineering, supply chain, operations

/n

& finance) to arrive at the costing.

/n

- Arrange meeting with stakeholders to derive the win themes, value propositions, and

/n

pricing strategies tailored to company priorities.

/n

/n

- Prepare compliant proposals with all the assumptions, risks and mitigation plan.

/n

- Ensure timely submission of proposals with complete technical and commercial

/n

/n

documentation.

/n

- Track bid progress and customer feedback for order booking.

/n

Engineering Activities

/n

- Closely work with the design team to translate RFQ inputs into system-level

/n

architectures and technical solutions.

/n

- Coordinate with the design team to prepare the RFQ Bill of Materials from the

/n

customer inputs and circulate to cross-functional teams for cost estimation.

/n

- Provide technical inputs for proposals, including performance specifications,

/n

integration strategies, and lifecycle support.

/n

- Collaborate with D&D; to adapt the design documents into engineering documents and

/n

system setup.

/n

- Upon order receipt,



finalise the Production BoM and SAP system setup. Coordinate

/n

with cross-functional team to build the prototypes.

/n

- Ensure the compliance of the product with defence standards, and qualification

/n

requirements (MIL-STD, JSS, etc.).

/n

- Provide technical oversight during trials, integration, and acceptance testing.

/n

Program Transition & Support

/n

/n

- Ensure smooth transition from prototype phase to execution phase of the projects.

/n

- Prepare and release the engineering documentation and configuration matrix for the

/n

/n

bulk production.

/n

/n

- Support program managers in meeting contractual milestones and deliverables.

/n

- Oversee documentation and compliance for audits, certifications, and customer

/n

/n

inspections.

/n

Qualifications

/n

/n

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering – Electrical & Electronics.

/n

- 8–10 years of experience in defence business development, application engineering,

/n

/n

Proven track record in land and naval electronics systems.

/n

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and proposal writing skills.
