Role Overview

We're looking for a Website Engineering Lead to build and maintain high-performance Word Press websites. You'll work closely with developers to deliver website enhancements, review code, maintain engineering standards, and ensure reliable releases.

You'll also partner with the Product, and Marketing teams to deliver website initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain custom Word Press themes, plugins, and reusable components
- Develop solutions using Word Press APIs, hooks, filters, custom post types, taxonomies, metadata, REST APIs, and third-party integrations
- Review code and ensure high standards for quality, security, performance, and maintainability
- Work with developers to plan, coordinate, and deliver website releases
- Optimize website performance, Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, analytics, Salesforce integrations, and third-party services
- Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and production releases
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve website reliability
- Collaborate with the Product, Design, Marketing, and developers to deliver website enhancements





Required Skills & Experience

- 5–7 years of skilled experience developing Word Press applications using PHP (PHP 8+) with strong OOP knowledge
- Strong expertise in:
- Custom Word Press themes and plugins
- Word Press hooks, filters, APIs, REST APIs, and Composer
- Custom Post Types, Taxonomies, and Metadata
- Java Script (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and Vanilla Java Script
- Experience integrating Salesforce with Word Press using APIs or middleware
- Experience optimizing website performance and Core Web Vitals
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and automated testing
- Good understanding of MySQL, Linux, caching, CDN, HTTP, website security, and API integrations
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills

Nice to Have

- Experience with Word Press Multisite or enterprise Word Press projects
- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
- Experience with Docker and Composer
