Description:We are seeking a dedicated and analytical SAP Focused Run (FRUN) and Solution Manager Consultant tomanage, configure, and optimize our SAP monitoring and system management landscape. In this role,you will be responsible for end-to-end Alert Monitoring, System Monitoring, Integration Monitoring, andTechnical Analytics using SAP Focused Run and SAP Solution Manager 7.2. You will serve as a coretechnical SME ensuring high system availability, rapid incident resolution, and proactive health trackingacross hybrid SAP landscapes.Key Responsibilities:● Configure and maintain key FRUN application areas, including System Monitoring (SysMon),Integration & User Monitoring (IUM), Real-Time Integration Monitoring, and Root Cause Analysis(RCA).● Onboard new SAP systems, databases, and hosts into SAP Focused Run.● Install, configure, and maintain Simple Diagnostics Agents (SDA) across managed systems.● Set up custom thresholds, notification templates, and automated metric management in FRUN.● Manage Technical Monitoring templates, metric settings, and alert rules in SolMan 7.2.● Perform regular housekeeping, patching, and maintenance of the Solution Manager/FRUNlandscapes.● Analyze performance metrics (CPU, Memory, DB growth, long-running jobs, lock entries,expensive SQL statements) and create proactive health checks.● Develop custom dashboards and reports in FRUN / SolMan to provide key stakeholders withsystem visibility.● Collaborate with SAP Basis, Database, and Infrastructure teams to fine-tune monitoring settingsand eliminate alert fatigue / false positives.Qualifications & Skills:● Experience:



3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis / Solution Manager / Focused Runadministration.● SAP Focused Run (FRUN): Solid practical exposure to FRUN architecture, Simple DiagnosticsAgents (SDA), System Monitoring, and Integration Monitoring.● SAP Solution Manager 7.2: Expertise in Technical Monitoring (SolMan Setup), Alert Inboxconfiguration, Notification Management, and Solution Documentation/Landscape setup (LMDB /SLD).● SAP Basis Fundamentals: Good understanding of SAP architecture (NetWeaver, S/4HANA, Suiteon HANA), DB management (SAP HANA, Sybase, Oracle), OS (Linux/Unix, Windows), and basictransport management.● Incident & Ticket Flow: Hands-on experience with incident management workflows, alertrouting, and ITIL process fundamentals.● Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, preventative mindset ratherthan just reactive firefighting.● Communication: Ability to clearly explain technical issues and metrics to both technical teamsand business stakeholders.● Ownership: High degree of accountability to manage critical alerts and ensure SLA adherence.● Experience of working in an Agile/Scrum delivery model.Valuable to have skills:● Certification in SAP Solution Manager or SAP Focused Run.● Experience with SAP Cloud ALM● Exposure to cloud/hybrid SAP deployments (SAP BTP, RISE with SAP, Azure, AWS, GCP).● Automation or scripting skills (Shell scripting, Python) for routine task execution.Success MetricsSuccess will be measured in a variety of areas, including● Consistently ensure the on-time delivery and quality (first-time-right) of the projects● Bring innovative cost effective solutions● Achieve the customer satisfaction
