We're looking for an experienced PHP Developer (WordPress/Shopify) to join our team.

You'll build and customise WordPress and WooCommerce/Shopify e-commerce platforms, working on real business problems at scale.

What you'll do

- Build custom WordPress plugins and themes using clean, well-structured PHP (OOP and MVC style).
- Customise WooCommerce - checkout logic, order flows, and discount/coupon systems.
- Troubleshoot at server level, handle deployments, and improve site performance.
- Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) day to day to write test cases, review, and debug code faster.
- Write and optimise complex MySQL queries.
- Work with Git and a team-based development workflow.
- Use SSH for server management, checking logs, and deployments.
- Do testing to make sure everything is running smooth based on different test cases.

What we need from you

- 4–5 years of hands-on PHP development.
- Solid WordPress skills - building custom themes and plugins from scratch, not just using page builders.
- Good WooCommerce knowledge - hooks, filters, the order lifecycle, and custom checkout logic.




- Experience with MVC-style PHP (custom-built, or a framework like Laravel or CodeIgniter — a plus).
- Comfortable using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) as part of your daily work.
- Working knowledge of Git - branching, merging, and pull requests.
- Comfortable on the command line and with SSH - moving around servers, running scripts, reading logs.
- Solid MySQL/phpMyAdmin skills - writing queries, understanding indexes, and fixing data issues.

Nice to have

- Experience with caching systems (object caching, full-page caching such as NitroPack).
- Experience with AffiliateWP, ACF, Elementor, or similar WordPress plugins.
- REST APIs and third-party integrations (payment gateways, marketing tools, and so on).
- Basic DevOps - staging vs live deployment workflows and backups (BlogVault or similar).
- Prior work in e-commerce, health & wellness, or subscription-based platforms.
