Role Overview

As a

Python Backend Developer , you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting AI-enabled automation solutions. The role combines backend application development, workflow automation, and integration of AI/GenAI capabilities to improve business processes. You will work closely with stakeholders to build scalable Python-based solutions, support AI-driven workflows, and contribute to continuous model improvement through feedback and monitoring mechanisms.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and automation solutionsBuild and support backend services, APIs, and workflow integrationsDevelop and enhance AI-enabled business workflows and process automation solution.Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and implement solutionsSupport AI model feedback loops, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiativesTroubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing automation applicationsEnsure code quality, reliability, performance,



and maintainability through best development practicesParticipate in solution design, testing, deployment, and production support activitiesContribute to documentation, reusable components, and technical standards

Required Skills & Experience3–4 years of experience in software development, automation, or backend application developmentStrong hands-on experience in production-grade Python application developmentExperience with at least one Python rest framework: FastAPI, Flask, or DjangoSolid understanding of RESTful API design, integrations, and workflow-based application developmentFamiliarity with LLMs, AI APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic), and prompt engineering techniquesExperience with databases: SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis)Proficiency in version control (Git), debugging, testing (unit/integration), and code review practicesAbility to support AI-enabled workflow development and ongoing model feedback loopsKnowledge of software engineering best practices, debugging and testing.Solid analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams

Nice to HaveExposure to GenAI or Agentic AI solutions (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI)Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI APIsExposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)Basic understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practicesExperience with Docker or containerized deployments

Academic Background and QualificationsBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, (BE / ME – Computer Science, Computer Science or IT , MCA).
