Acts as the technical owner and final escalation point for enterprise storage platforms. Responsible for architecture, performance, scalability, security, and lifecycle management of block and file storage across production environments. Leads major incidents, capacity planning, platform upgrades, and standardization initiatives.

Own architecture, design, and governance of storage platforms.

Responsibilities

Define and enforce storage standards and best practicesLead major incident resolution and root-cause analysisPerform capacity forecasting and performance optimizationDesign and oversee high-availability and DR storage solutionsPlan and execute storage upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle managementEnsure security hardening, compliance, and audit readinessReview EOL/EOS risks and drive remediation plansMentor and guide L1/L2 storage teamsCollaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams on platform initiativesFinal escalation point for storage-related issuesOwns design decisions, platform roadmap,



and stabilityDrives continuous improvement and operational excellence

Qualifications

Deep expertise in enterprise storage platforms: NetApp FAS / AFF HPE 3PAR / Primera / AlletraStrong hands-on experience with SAN and NAS architecturesAdvanced knowledge of SAN fabric, zoning, and multipathingStorage architecture design and standardizationCapacity planning, performance optimization, and scalability designExperience with storage security, vulnerability remediation, and complianceStrong troubleshooting skills and major incident RCA leadershipExperience supporting 24×7 enterprise production environments

Required Skills

VMware / virtualization integration with storageAutomation or scripting exposureExperience in regulated / audit-driven environmentsKnowledge of backup and DR integration with storage platforms
