SONiC SAI Test EngineerResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automation suites for SONiC and SAI validation.Perform feature validation and regression testing for networking protocols and switching/routing functionalities.Develop and maintain Python-based automation frameworks for network testing.Validate networking features including TCP/IP, VLAN, BGP, LAG, QoS, and ACLs across SONiC-based platforms.Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams for defect resolution.Work closely with platform, ASIC, and software engineering teams to ensure product quality and interoperability.Support CI/CD-based test execution and continuous quality improvements.Prepare test reports, defect summaries, and quality metrics for release sign-off.Must Have Skills4 to 8 years of experience in Networking Testing with robust Switching and Routing fundamentals.Minimum 1+ years of hands-on experience in

SONiC and SAI (Switch Abstraction Interface) Testing .Strong proficiency in

Python

for test automation and scripting.Hands-on experience validating networking protocols such as

TCP/IP, VLAN, BGP, LAG, QoS,



and ACLs .Experience working with Linux-based networking systems and troubleshooting tools.Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Good understanding of network architecture, packet flow analysis, and protocol validation.Good to Have SkillsExperience with

SAI validation for ASIC vendors .Exposure to

gRPC, REST APIs, and network test automation frameworks .Knowledge of

CI/CD tools

such as Jenkins, Git, and Docker.Experience working with

Open Networking ecosystems

and white-box networking solutions.Familiarity with packet capture and analysis tools such as Wireshark.LocationBangaloreExperience Range :-
