About the RoleMcLine Studios is looking for a detail-oriented Interior Designer with strong expertise in construction documentation and drafting for international (primarily US/ Canada) projects.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on technical drawings, design coordination, and global client projects while being part of a collaborative team.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed
construction drawings
including plans, elevations, sections, and millwork detailsWork on
Design Development (DD)
and
Construction Documentation (CD)
phasesCoordinate with internal engineering/design teams for accurate executionCommunicate with international clients via email and calls for project discussionsEnsure drawings comply with
AWI / AWMAC / NKBA or client-specific standardsMaintain high-quality documentation and meet project timelines
Required Skills & ToolsProficiency in
AutoCAD and Revit
(mandatory)Robust understanding of
interior construction detailing & drafting standardsExperience in
US/Canada-based projects
preferredGood communication skills for client interactionAbility to handle multiple projects and deadlines
QualificationsDegree in
Interior Design / Architecture / Architectural Design1.5 – 6 years
of relevant experience in interior drafting & documentation
