Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced garment export marketing professional with strong knowledge of Tirupur buying houses, garment buyers and sourcing contacts, with the ability to develop buyer relationships and generate genuine enquiries and orders.

The person should have good knowledge of Tirupur-based buying houses and garment buyers and should be able to identify active buyers with genuine sourcing requirements and strong potential for placing orders.

This is a hands-on role focused on bringing the right buyers, generating enquiries and following up until genuine order opportunities are developed.

Key Responsibilities

1. Buyer & Buying House Sourcing

- Identify suitable buyers and buying houses based on the company's manufacturing capabilities.
- Build and maintain a database of active buyers, buying houses and sourcing contacts.
- Research and identify active buyers based on product category, order requirements and sourcing potential.
- Develop contacts with purchase managers, merchandisers, sourcing managers and other decision-makers.
- Understand upcoming sourcing requirements and potential orders.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations and potential orders until the opportunity is confirmed or closed.
- Visit buyers / buying houses when required and maintain regular communication.
- Track buyer discussions and follow-up commitments and prioritise genuine business opportunities.
- Keep Management informed about important buyer opportunities, potential business and order status.

The focus of this role is not simply to collect buyer contacts. The responsibility is to identify genuine business opportunities and develop them towards actual orders.

Candidate Profile

- 3–5 years of experience in garment buying-house, sourcing, merchandising, business development,



buyer coordination or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Tirupur-based buying houses and garment buyers is required.
- Existing contacts with buying houses / buyers will be a strong advantage.
- Should have the ability to identify reliable and genuine buyers with business potential.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive and comfortable making calls, visiting buyers and following up regularly.
- Strong order-oriented mindset and willingness to pursue opportunities until a clear outcome.
- Good coordination skills with Merchandising and Management.

Job Details

Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹60,000 per month + Performance Incentive

Performance incentive will be linked to business / order generation and may be discussed based on experience and role suitability.
