Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and efficient Video Editor to join the post-production team of a daily television show. The ideal candidate should have a robust sense of storytelling, pacing and visual continuity, along with the ability to deliver broadcast-ready episodes within tight daily deadlines. The role requires close coordination with directors, producers and other post-production team members to maintain the show’s creative and technical standards.

Responsibilities:

- Edit daily television episodes from raw footage into polished, engaging and broadcast-ready content.
- Structure footage to ensure strong storytelling, smooth transitions, appropriate pacing and continuity.
- Coordinate closely with directors and producers to understand the episode flow and creative requirements.
- Add music, sound effects, graphics, transitions and other visual elements wherever required.
- Sync and organize footage from multiple cameras and audio sources.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions accurately within strict delivery timelines.
- Maintain consistency in the show’s visual style, tone, graphics and overall presentation across episodes.
- Review final edits for continuity, audio-video synchronization, spelling, technical accuracy and broadcast quality.
- Manage and organize footage, project files, graphics, audio assets and episode archives systematically.
- Coordinate with graphics, sound, colour-grading and quality-control teams to ensure timely episode delivery.
- Handle multiple episodes and editing requirements in a fast-paced daily production environment.




- Contribute creative editing ideas that improve the entertainment value and audience engagement of the show.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in editing television shows, episodic content, reality shows, entertainment programmes or similar broadcast content.
- Strong proficiency in professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or Avid Media Composer.
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and basic motion graphics will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, continuity, music placement and television production formats.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict daily broadcast deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify and correct visual, audio and continuity issues.
- Strong file-management, media-management and project-organisation skills.
- Ability to understand and work with Gujarati-language content.
- Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with creative and production teams.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including extended shifts when required for episode delivery.
- Degree or diploma in film editing, television production, mass communication, digital media or a related field is preferred; relevant professional experience will also be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
