Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Design Engineer – Fresher to join our engineering team in the valves and fittings manufacturing industry. The candidate will support the design, drafting, development, and documentation of industrial valves, fittings, and related components.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D models of valves, fittings, and components.
- Assist in designing and modifying components as per customer requirements.
- Prepare assembly drawings, detail drawings, BOMs, and engineering documents.
- Understand and apply GD&T;, tolerances, fits, and material specifications.
- Assist in selection of materials and components based on application requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, and Sales/Projects teams for design-related requirements.
- Review drawings and ensure dimensional and manufacturing accuracy.
- Make design changes based on production feedback, inspection reports, and customer requirements.
- Support prototype development, testing, and design validation.
- Maintain proper drawing revisions and engineering documentation.
- Follow applicable valve, piping, and dimensional standards.

Required Skills





- Good knowledge of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals.
- Basic understanding of industrial valves and pipe fittings.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks / Creo / Inventor will be an advantage.
- Understanding of GD&T;, fits & tolerances, machining, casting, forging, and fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and technical documentation.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn manufacturing processes and industry standards.

Preferred Knowledge.

- Understanding of pressure ratings, dimensions, materials, and testing requirements.
